In the period of transition between Design and Art, here are a few Commissioned Paintings that required a bit of precision according to the given brief but also largely allowed my untethered creative expression. The approach to Design is cerebral in nature while Art is pure creative expression. In all honesty, with precise given briefs, it took years before I could completely bury my Design approach instincts and unleash the unrestricted creative intution. Design predetermines an outcome while Art allows the process to lead you.
